SANTA BEAR

Santa bear on Dominique's dashboard

Bear seems to be a repeating symbol for Dominique.  He’s got a bear protecting his side mirror, now he’s got a new addition, the Santa bear.  Hopefully this Santa bear will help bring presents of good luck, safety, and unforgettable experiences for Dominique!

COUNT DOWN: T-Minus 5 Days!

It is 5 days away from the start of Dominique’s icetrek journey.  Though many of you will be snuggling next to fireplaces with family and friends, and counting down to 2010 toasting champagnes, but Dominique will be spending these important holidays without family and friends.  Take a moment to leave a comment and wish him good luck, happy holiday, and happy new year!

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to you all!

AU REVOIR SIMA! WISH ME LUCK!

Dominique spent the past 2 days at SIMA (TGB’s distributor in France) for few finishing touches and preparation for his TGB Blade 550SE ATV.  There are only 8 days left until Dominique says “au revoir” to his family and friends and take on yet another adventurous challenge.  TGB and SIMA wishes Dominique the best of luck!!

Sima Moto wishes Dominique the best of luck and safe journey!

Looks like Dominique’s got a new hat!  Not sure if the hat has the same functions as his helmet though!

DOMINIQUE’S RULE #4 FOR SURVIVAL: Sleeping Right

Dominique's Shelter In The Snow

To many of us, sleeping right means getting ample amount of sleep, say about 8-9 hours/day; this won’t be Dominique’s definition of sleeping right, especially if he is estimating only getting in 4 hours of sleep/day.  His definition of sleeping right means sleeping under the right protection.

Dominique is counting on The North Face Mountain 25 tent for protection.  This tent is cold-cracked to -60°F (around -51.1°C) and easy to set up even under whiteout/merciless conditions.  Dominique needs a strong enough tent to withstand strong winds and weight of snow, and this tent is known for its ability to survive through polar environments with its advanced engineering to avoid condensation, infultration of snow and wind, and maximum insulation of heat.

This tent will provide a safe shelter from the wild, whether it be wild animals or wild weather!
